LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE OF PLASMA ADDRESS METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a plasma address type liquid crystal display element improved about the structure of a plasma address discharging part. CONSTITUTION: A plasma address part 200 in the liquid crystal display element is provided with partition walls 200 with prescribed height between plane-like 2nd and 3rd substrates 130, 250 and a 1st electrode 210 is formed on the inner surface of the 3rd substrate 250 in a state spread over the whole surface or divided into plural parts and 2nd electrodes 230 are formed on the upper part of the 1st electrode 210 in parallel with the walls 220. Consequently manufacturing workability can be improved and the size of the element can easily be increased.
