PURPOSE:To provide the KARAOKE (accompaniment to recorded music) system which is capable of improving the operating rate of the system by effective utilization of the blank period at the time of music selection and is adequate as a marketing means. CONSTITUTION:This KARAOKE system has a function to reproduce the KARAOKE signals consisting of the video signals and sound signals recorded on a disk for KARAOKE respectively with a monitor 4 and a speaker 6. The system described above has an advertisement information output means 2 for outputting the advertisement information signals consisting of the video signals and sound signals relating to advertisement information and a control means 1 for changing over the KARAOKE signals to the advertisement information signals according to the output stop of the KARAOKE signals and reproducing the advertisement information signals with the monitor 4 and the speaker 6.
