PRODUCTION OF L-TRYPTOPHAN

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for highly efficiently producing L-tryptophan at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the L-tryptophan comprises reacting indole with L-serine in the presence of microorganisms containing tryptophan synthetase little in the inhibition of feed back due to the L-tryptophan or in the presence of their treated products in a 9.0-10.0pH aqueous solution, accumulating the produced L-tryptophan up to a concentration of 3-5%(w/v), and subqequently collecting the L-tryptophan from the aqueous solution.
