PURPOSE:To prevent a meaningless message from being sent by giving an error notice to a sender when a transmission message generated newly relates to a message sent precedingly and a name of a recipient having not normally received the message sent precedingly is designated. CONSTITUTION:A transmission history file 31 consists of a message identifier 32 of a relevant message sent already precedingly, a preceding recipient name 34 extracted from a printer 33, a reception state flag 35 at that time, a succeeding recipient name 37 extracted from a pointer 36, and a reception state flag 38 or the like. Either a replacement 24 or a reference 25 is designated to a transmission message 21 generated newly, the message identifier is retrieved from the file 31. When reception state flags 35, 38 represent that the message is not normally received recipient names 34, 37 are compared with a recipient name 21 designated in the message 21, and when a reception disable recipient is designated, an error is noticed to the sender.
