PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously operate a computer system even if not only fault restoration from the intermittent fault of hardware but also a software fault are generated and to improve the availability of the system by giving a function for executing again the system after the software fault is positively removed. SOLUTION: When the fault occurs in the system, a fault identification means 103 segments whether the occurred fault is the hardware fault or the software fault. When a fault cause is judged to be the hardware fault, a check point roll back means 101 rolls back the system. When the fault cause is judged to be the software fault, a system situation recording means 104 records the situation of the system when the fault occurs in software fault occurred situation recording areas 200 and 300. A software fault occurred cause estimation means 105 estimates the software fault occurred cause and records it in software fault occurred cause logs 201 and 301. |
