PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely open an inlet grill with good operability by providing cushioning means for softening the movement of an inlet grill at the time of opening the inlet grill between a caging and the inlet grill. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is suspended on the lower surface of a ceiling by means of hanging bolts 31. A pair of right and left cushioning means 40 for softening the movement of an inlet grill 6 at the time of opening the inlet grill 6 are provided between a casing 1 and the inlet grill 6. The cushioning means 40 comprises links 41 and 42 having ends respectively rotatably connected to the casing 1 ad the inlet grill 6 and the other ends rotatably connected to each other and rotary dampers 43 provided in the connecting parts of both the links 41 and 42. With such a configuration, the inlet grill 6 can be opened by the one touch operation of an operating member without using a stepladder nor supporting the inlet grill 6 by hands. |
