PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute the adjustment of image forming conditions as necessary at a point in time by means of a low-cost system even when the switch of a main body power source is kept on and to ensure image-quality stabilization in terms of the elapse of time. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with an inexpensive timer which works in conjunction with the turning on of the switch of the main body power source, and it executes the adjustment of the image forming conditions when the switch of the main body power source is turned on (S4), and also even during the elapse of time for which the timer has been set, the adjustment of the image forming conditions is executed (S8). Thus, even when the switch of the main body power source is kept on and the timer, which works in conjunction with the turning on of it, has finished measuring the set elapse of time (S5-Y), the device allows the execution of the adjustment of the image forming conditions at the point in time. |
