The device has a yoke (11) with two free ends (12) projecting sideways down to fit flush on either side of the ridge. A height adjustable socket (14) for the object is mounted freely rotatable at the upper end of a spacer which has a thread for connecting to the centre section (13) of the yoke. The lower end of the spacer screws into a threaded socket (21) in the middle section (13) of the yoke. A rotary handle can be provided on the spacer. The socket can fit on the upper end of the spacer.
