PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area filling processing system capable of filling an unfilled part in the inside of an outline with a thick area filling line while holding accuracy on the edges of the outline and accelerating the processing of an output device. SOLUTION: A contour expressing an area filling range is supplied from an input device 1 to a contour tracing means 7 which acquires an offset value corresponding to an area filling line of which line width is stepwisely increased from thin line width registered in a line width list 3 through a line width selecting means 6 to fill the range with the line. The selected line width is outputted from the means 6 to a contour scanning means 8 and an output device 5. The means 8 scans an area filling range other than the range filled with the area filling line by the means 7 in a prescribed direction and fills the scanned range with the area filling line having the line width selected by the means 6 and the area filling states of these means 7, 8 are outputted to the output device 5. |
