PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a texture processing device permitting to improve transportation stability of a tape for grinding. SOLUTION: This texture processing device is provided with a 1st torque motor 104 to apply a driving force in a reverse direction of transporting a polishing tape 70B to an unwinding reel 102 around which an unused polishing tape is wound, a 2nd torque motor 122 to apply a driving force in a reverse direction of transporting the polishing tape to a tension roller 106 for applying a tension to the polishing tape, a servo motor 134 to drive a tape feeding roller 116 for pulling out the polishing tape in the direction of transporting the polishing tape, a 3rd torque motor 136 to apply a driving force to a take-up reel 120 for taking up the polishing tape in the transporting direction, and a polishing roller 25B which is arranged between the tension roller 106 and the tape feeding roller 116 and makes the polishing tape slide back and forth in the direction of the radius of a hard disk 60 with the tape press-contacted with the tension roller 106. |
