The crate made from a cardboard blank (1) has four principal faces (2,4,6,8) separated in pairs by four secondary side faces (3,5,7,9) forming cut corners. The side faces are formed by encircling eight flaps ended by a folding tab. The flat blank is placed on a mandrel and wound around it. The crate bottom (14) is folded down against the mandrel bottom and one side face is doubled by folding the first secondary flap (17) on the edge of the crate bottom around the third folding line (16). |
