The agricultural machine has side elements (7) with finishing devices mounted on the support frame (1) to fold round in at the sides. A synchronized guide device (12) is mounted between the side elements and can be a connecting rod set between the fold-in side frames. The connecting rod is attached to one side frame spaced from the hinged joint (6) in a plane above same and to the other side frame spaced from the joint in a plane below same.
