PURPOSE: A Priority transmittance precedence determination unit and method is provided to reduce probability of transmitting clash and to increase transmitting efficiency of a network. CONSTITUTION: A Priority transmittance precedence determination unit includes a transfer bit counter, a MAC controller, and a MAC driver. The transfer bit counter implements counting in accordance with transmitting a fixed unit of ethernet frame data. The MAC controller stops operation of the transfer bit counter respond to a perception of data clashing during frame transmitting and outputs counting data of the transfer bit counter. The MAC driver determines a priority transmittance precedence after receiving the output of MAC controller. |
