PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting a crooked tongue rail are provided to prevent a rail from derailing by detecting a crooked rail accident in advance. CONSTITUTION: A device installs a fixing bar(310) in the upper part of a tongue rail(300) and a rod cell(320) in the other end of the fixing bar. Both tongue rails are connected by a rod(500) and the output terminal of the rod cell is connected to a controller(900) controlling the detection of the rod cell. When the tongue rail is abnormally crooked, the rod cell transfers a signal and then the detecting device warns a train of trouble with a warning unit having an amplifier and a discord reaction lamp so as to prevent an accident in advance. |
