PURPOSE:To perform smooth relative rotational movement between inner and outer races in a state that sealing ability between the inner and outer races, of which a taper bearing is composed, is kept in an excellent state. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge of the protruding end of the seal lip 56 of a seal 51 fitted in one side race out of inner and outer races 48 and 49 of which a taper bearing 40 is composed is brought into pressure contact with the end surface 57 in the axial direction of the other side race. A peripherally extending groove 58 is formed in the surface of the middle part in a protruding direction of the seal lip 56. |
