PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet and a photographic printing matter, permitting to obtain the photographic printing matter whose case will not be contaminated or whose density will not be deteriorated while excellent in durability such as resistance to light or the like, by a method wherein a protective layer is transferred simply on the image of the printing matter, on which the image is formed by a heat sensitive sublimation transfer system, at a low cost while the printing matter is preserved by contacting the same with a card case, a plastic eraser or the like which contains a plasticizer. SOLUTION: The protective layer, having the property of heat transfer, is provided at least one part on one side of a substrate sheet and the protective layer is produced by employing a protective layer transfer sheet containing at least one kind of an aliphatic compound, an aromatic compound as well as at least one kind of hydroxide group containing compound whereby the protective layer is provided with resistance to light and resistance to a plasticizer having ultraviolet ray absorbing property and such a protective layer is transferred on the image thereby obtaining the printing matter provided with the image excellent in durability such as resistance to a plasticizer, resistance to light or the like. |
