An online bookmark apparatus for promoting bookmark supply. A server (12) holding advertisement information receives a bookmark from a provider terminal (14) and stores it therein. The server (12) transmits stored bookmark and advertisement information associated with the bookmark to a user terminal when it is accessed by the user side terminal. The advertisement charge against the advertiser for the transmitted advertisement information is added and points based on the advertisement charge are added to the provider of the transmitted bookmark. The bookmark and the advertisement information are received by the user side terminal (16) to inform the user. Since the provider provides a bookmark in order to get points, bookmark supply to the user is promoted and the operator of the server (12) can earn the income of advertisement charge. |
