摘要 A device for movement and positioning of an object in space is provided which has a parallel manipulator structure comprising a number of rigid force transferring elements defining a truss. The device is modular and a large range of kinematics characteristics may be obtained by combining numbers of the parallel manipulator structures differently. The device has actuators and a control system for controlling the movement and orientation of an object in space.
