PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can prevent troubles by higher toner density compared with a development device using a permeability sensor even when it is arranged for cost reduction to detect the density of the toner image for image density control formed on the image density detection medium and to control a supplying rate to the development device, and also when it can be arranged for downsizing without installing the permeability sensor. SOLUTION: The image forming device makes multiple toner images for controlling the image density using at least more than two different kinds of developing biasing voltages with identical color toner, measures the density of the multiple toner images for image density control by density measurements method and adjusts the toner density of the two-component developing means corresponding to the measurement result of the density measurements means. In this image generation device, the control method which detects the toner density of the two-component developing means excessing a set value from the measurement results of both the first toner image and second toner image for the image density control is installed. |
