DEVICE FOR CORRECTING VIDEO SIGNAL OF LCD MONITOR

PURPOSE: A device for correcting video signals of an LCD monitor is provided to clamp the levels of R/G/B signals transmitted from a PC in case of a brightness control mode to correct the level of corresponding R/G/B signal. CONSTITUTION: A device for correcting video signals of an LCD monitor having an inverter includes the first and second couplers(100,300), a clamp circuit(200), and an analog/digital converter(400). The first coupler receives an analog R/G/B signal whose level varies being synchronized with a predetermined pulse output from the inverter from a PC and couples the signal. The clamp circuit receives a predetermined horizontal synchronous signal to clamp a signal level corresponding to a predetermined section of the coupled analog R/G/B signal to correct the analog signal level. The second coupler couples the analog R/G/B signal corrected by the clamp circuit. The analog/digital converter converts the coupled analog R/G/B signal into a digital R/G/B signal.
