PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of obtaining pressure force necessary for color fixing, preventing a printing medium from being wound round, and obtaining the heat insulating property of a pressure roller. SOLUTION: A fixing roller 32 has a heat source 6 inside and has a rubber layer 35 on the outer periphery of a metallic pipe 34, and its hardness is set within 70-85 by ASKER C. The pressure roller 33 press-contacts with the roller 32 and has silicone foaming rubber 38 formed on the outer periphery of a core bar 37, and its hardness is set to 55-70 by the ASKER C.
