PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system wherein a single receiver receives radio wave signals transmitted from a plurality of transmitters located at different places and can demodulate the signals into respective demodulation signals. SOLUTION: Data modulation units 3a to 3d of the transmitters 2a to 2d modulate input data by a prescribed modulation system, multipliers 4a to 4d multiply a carrier with the modulated signals for superposition, power amplifier units 5a to 5d amplify the superposed signals, and an antenna 6a emits the resulting signals in air. On the other hand, band limit filters 21 to 24 of the receiver 11 limit a plurality of mixed signals comprising the mixture of a plurality of incident signals from a plurality of antennas where a plurality of the incident signals are made incident to signals having the prescribed narrow bands, and output the resulting signals, respectively. An independent component analysis unit 50 separates / extracts a plurality of the incident signals by a method of the independent component analysis, and a plurality of demodulators 71 to 74 demodulate the separated / extracted respective incident signals.
