PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide array which prevents the leakage of light between the cores of a multi-mode optical waveguide having the height of a light transmission way array, especially cores of several tens-several hundredsμm, corrects a shape change by the curing shrinkage of a light curable resin, is excellent in optical characteristics, and can be manufactured easily and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a shape transfer mold used in the production of the light transmission way array of the light curable resin, a shape transfer mold has an uneven structure, and a convex shape part 102 is projected from a flat plate part 101. On the boundary surface between the flat plate and a projection, a light shielding layer 103 shielding light for curing the light curable resin is installed. The light shielding layer has an area to compensate a curing shrinkage margin for the light curable resin when the light curable resin for molding the array packed in a recess 102a of the uneven structure is cured by the light for light curing.
