摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize image correction processing excellent in continuity and stability which provides photographing prints with high customer satisfaction from scenes ranging from proper exposure to overexposure in a photographic condition determined as front light or stroboscopic close-up photographing. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 analyzes the photographing condition of photographed image data (step T1), and analyzes additional information added to the photographed image data (step T3). Then, the apparatus 1 selects a reference condition corresponding to the additional information acquired in the step T3 from among a plurality of reference conditions previously defined for each additional information, as the predetermined conditions for image quality correction processing for the photographed image data (step T4), sets a transition condition required for transition from reference conditions to non-correction conditions not requiring image correction processing (step T5), and applies image correction processing to the photographed image data having a predetermined photographing condition (e.g. front light), in accordance with the calculated transition condition.
