PURPOSE:To obtain the novel functional resin composition causing thermochromism in a desired wavelength region, especially, that of semiconductor laser beams. CONSTITUTION:This functional resin composition comprises a dyestuff, such as bis(triethylsiloxy)silicon-tetraquis(decylthio)naphthalocyanine, a conjugated polymer changeable in conformation by heat or light energy, such as a polymer represented by formula I and embodied by 3-dodecylthiophene and the like. In formula I, each of R<1> and R<2> is, independently, H or a univalent organic group, and at least one of both is a univalent organic group; X is 0, S, Se, or -NR<3>-; and R<3> is H, alkyl, or aryl. |
