<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a syntactic forest with a structure parsing syntax trees included therein at a time without being evaluated individually. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for analyzing natural language, which creates a syntactic forest including a plurality of syntax trees by parsing an input morpheme string, comprises a first memory for storing grammar rules, a detection means for detecting based on the grammar rules a head and a head-dominated area corresponding to a partial structure dominated by the head from the input morpheme string, and a parsing means for creating a syntactic forest with a head structure having the head-dominated area detected by the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
