<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic coupling device capable of inexpensively and surely reducing vibration or noise. <P>SOLUTION: A damping member 43 is interposed in a clearance 4 between an armature 2 and a worm wheel 3 supporting the armature 2. The damping member 43 is formed into a ring shape by a viscoelastic material having damping function and vibration attenuating function, and fixed to the armature 2 by an adhesive or a double-faced adhesive tape. The damping member 43 has a plate thickness larger than the clearance 4 in a natural state, and it presses the armature 2 to a rotor 6 by being interposed between the armature 2 and the worm wheel 3 in a compressed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
