PURPOSE:To obtain a structure of the case of a printer wherein a cover is prevented from being disconnected when a paper is cut and noise caused by printing can be decreased without being accompanied with decrease in visibility. CONSTITUTION:As a fitting nail 6 on a printer cover A1 has an insertion structure, there exists no possibility of opening when a print paper 4 is cut in comparison with a printer with a rotating structure. In addition, a printer cover B2 is placed on the printer cover A1 and a sound absorbing material 3 is placed in the space and the printer cover B2 covers an outlet of the paper from a platen 5. In addition, noise is taken in the sound absorbing material 3 through a number of holes in a part 11 with a step 11 of the printer cover A1. An expansion type sound deadening room like this can decrease easily the noise of printing by making the cover into two bodies without enlarging the apparatus. In addition, visibility can be improved by taking the printer cover B for the purpose of improving visibility. |
