PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to fix a printed board to a rear frame with the minimum required change without changing the shape of the rear frame of a backlight unit even when the shape of the printed board is changed. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device is provided with the backlight unit 3 having the rear frame 5 to which a rear frame standard pedestal 11 is integrally provided and a pedestal 12 exclusive to the rear frame constituted as a separate component from the rear frame 5 and fixed to the rear frame 5 and is further provided with the printed board 4 fixed to the rear frame 5 via the rear frame standard pedestal 11 and the pedestal 12 exclusive to the rear frame.
