PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an electric power steering device capable of preventing control data unadapted to control program from being used when the control data used for controlling the electric power steering device is stored in a non-volatile memory for using. SOLUTION: ROM 102, where code information is embedded, stores the control program 102a for controlling the electric power steering. EEPROM 104, where code information is embedded, stores the control data 104a used if the control program 102a is executed. A CPU 101 determines whether the code information embedded in the control program 102a is identical to the code information embedded in the control data 104a or not.
