PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information display device which displays map information based on photographing information. SOLUTION: The map information display device displays the map information based on the information of a photographing date and time, and photographing place respectively made correspondent to a plurality of photographing images. The map information display device includes: a photographing image extraction section which extracts the photographing image photographed within a prescribed period included with the photographing data of the prescribed photographing image from among the plurality of the photographing images; a map range selection section which selects the range on the map included with the photographing place of the photographing image extracted by the photographing image extraction section on the basis of the photographing place of the prescribed photographing image; and a map information display element which displays the map information in such a manner that the range on the map selected by the map range selection section is included.
