PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition system and others which can reduce calculation load in image recognition processing and increase a feature recognition rate per a given distance by allowing a feature suitable as an object for image recognition processing to be a target feature in accordance with the condition of actual features. SOLUTION: The image recognition system includes an image recognition apparatus which is installed in a vehicle to perform the image recognition processing of the features and a server apparatus 1 which can exchange information with respect to one or more image recognition apparatus. The server apparatus 1 includes: a means 22 for collecting recognition success/failure information S indicating the success or failure of the image recognition of each feature by the image recognition apparatus; a means 25 for generating recognition possibility information R indicating the possibility of the success of the image recognition of each feature on the basis of the collected recognition success/failure information S; a means 26 for storing the generated recognition possibility information R; and a means 27 for sending the recognition possibility information R to the image recognition apparatus.
