FIELD: physics; acoustics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for playing balalaika. The method involves extraction of sound sequences by moving fingers on strings from the bottom upwards. The sound is extracted using at least one finger, through successive sliding of the finger on each of at least two strings of the balalaika.
