Disclosed is a liquid material storage apparatus in water, which is mounted in a river, sea, lake or the like and includes a liquid material storage tank, which is positioned to occupy a predetermined region in water and includes a liquid material inlet through which a liquid material (e.g., fresh water, seawater, wastewater to be purified, liquid chemical material, or oil) to be stored is supplied, an outer shape of the liquid material storage tank being changed by external water pressure when the liquid material is stored in an amount smaller than a maximum storage capacity thereof, and an inlet closing means which closes the liquid material inlet of the liquid material storage tank to seal the liquid material storage tank. The liquid material storage apparatus is capable of being readily mounted in water to thus simultaneously enable the storage and transport of a large amount of liquid material, and of drastically reducing the construction costs, compared to the storage apparatus on land. |
