PURPOSE:To manufacture a high performance metal carrier at a high speed by winding a metal of the same material as that of a honeycomb coil or a metal high in high temperature strength round the outer peripheral part and welding with energy beam in a honeycomb coil wound in a roll state and welded with energy beam after a flat foil and a corrugated one are superposed to form the honeycomb. CONSTITUTION:After the flat foil and the corrugated foil are superposed to form the honeycomb, the metal of the same material as that of the honeycomb coil 21 or the metal high in high temperature strength is wound by the length of one outer periphery or more on the outer peripheral part to form an outer casing in the honeycomb coil 21 wound in a roll state and welded with energy beam. Or, after the flat foil 1 and the corrugated foil 2 are superposed to form the honeycomb, the flat foil is made longer by the length of one outer periphery or more than the corrugated to form the outer casing in the honeycomb coil 21 wound in a roll state and welded with energy beam. |
