PURPOSE:To provide a method to easily and securely discriminate the front surface from the rear surface of steel sheet for cans. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam oscillator 3 is provided to an electric plating line outlet side of a continuous manufacturing line of steel sheet for cans, one surface of the steel sheet 1 which is electrically plated in the electric plating line is irradiated with the laser beam from the laser beam oscillator 3 to print a discriminating mark on one surface of the steel sheet 1 in the longitudinal direction of the steel sheet 1. |
