The present invention provides an electronic device which is capable of efficiently introducing light radiated from a light source unit to the inside of a light guide plate, thereby improving efficiency of light use, a display device having the electronic device and a control device thereof. A temperature controller (10) has a control board (21), an LED (22), a reflective sheet (23) and the light guide plate (24). The LED (22a, 22b) is mounted on the control board (21) and radiates the light in a direction parallel to the surface of the control board (21). The reflective sheet (23) is prepared at a position in proximity to and with a predetermined gap from the LED (22a, 22b) on the control board (21) and reflects the light in a direction which intersects with the control board (21). The light guide plate (24) is placed on the reflective sheet (23) and has a protrusion (25) which protrudes inside the space between the light radiating end surface of the LED (22a, 22b) and the end surface of the reflective sheet (23) which faces the light radiating end surface. The light guide plate (24) receives the light radiated from the LED (22a, 22b) out of the side surface (24a) including the protrusion (25) and surface-emits the light off the front surface (24b). |
