The present invention relates to a switch for controlling an electric distribution in an apartment house, comprising: a panel board having an installation space with a predetermined size; a plurality of circuit breakers disposed to be spaced apart from one another in at least two vertical columns within the panel board; a driving unit commonly applied to a handle of each of the plurality of circuit breakers and horizontally moved according to movement of the handle even though a handle of any circuit breaker is turned off; and a first control unit sensing a horizontal movement of the driving unit to detect error information of the turned-off circuit breaker, and informing a user or an operator accordingly. An erroneous circuit breaker among the plurality of circuit breakers can be selectively detected and promptly informed to the user or the operator, and whether a specific circuit breaker, among the plurality of circuit breakers, has an error can be quickly detected to reduce a repair time. Also, when an error of the specific circuit breaker, among the plurality of circuit breakers, is discovered, whether the other remaining circuit breakers have errors can be detected and controlled in advance. In addition, when the panel board is overloaded to increase a temperature, an interior of the panel board is cooled, and when the temperature continues to increase, all the circuit breakers are cut off at a time to prevent malfunction and a fire in advance. Moreover, after checking and repairing operations are completed, all the circuit breakers are simultaneously turned on to promptly recover the panel board. |
