The present invention relates to a flame retardant door. A conventional flame retardant door has problems as follows. Time and costs for manufacturing the door are improved because of a complicated door manufacturing process, and a panel itself does not have flame retarding properties in case of combustion. In addition, in the panel, a base material layer to which a wood veneer (sliced veneer) single plate is adhered is a hardened thermoplastic synthetic resin. Thus, it is difficult to manufacture the panel by dispersing a flame retardant on the hardened thermoplastic synthetic resin. Also, toxicity is generated in case of combustion. The flame retardant door of the present invention is characterized in that in a panel, a base material layer to which a wood veneer (sliced veneer) single plate is adhered is made of unsaturated polyester; flame retarding properties are secured by glass fiber and a non-toxic inorganic flame retardant; and a porous pulp layer is arranged. According to the present invention, the flame retardant door is easily be manufactured, is stable, has impact resistance and durability, and maximizes non-toxic flame retarding properties. |
