IMAGE SENSOR FOR PERFORMING COUPLING-FREE READOUT, AND DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

Disclosed is an image sensor for performing coupling-free readout to prevent the non-linearity of an analog-digital convertor. The image sensor includes color pixels, a switch circuit which simultaneously outputs color signals outputted from color pixels having the same characteristic among the color pixels in response to a control signal, and a comparison circuit which compares each of the color signals with a reference signal and outputs each of comparison signals corresponding to a comparison result. The color pixels having the same characteristic are the same kind of color pixels which output the same kind of the color signals or color pixels having the same exposure time.
