In a group collaboration system including one owner terminal and multiple slave terminals connected to the owner terminal via Wi-Fi Direct to form a group, the owner terminal distributes sensing loads based on state information included in heartbeat signals received from the multiple slave terminals forming the group to transmit the distributed sensing loads to the multiple slave terminals, receives the sensing data collected by each of the multiple slave terminals based on the transmitted sensing loads to combine the received sensing data into collaborative sensing data, and transmits the collaborative sensing data to the multiple slave terminals to request synchronization, thereby enabling collaborative sensing.
