The present invention relates to artificial turf, pile threads for the artificial turf, and a manufacturing method thereof. The pile threads include any one between a UV sensitive polymer of changing color in response to ultraviolet rays and a shape memory polymer of changing a shape in response to ultraviolet rays. Thus, the present invention is able to: display various visual designs by changing color and design in response to ultraviolet rays; and be used in various fields.
