The present invention relates to a wireless communication apparatus in the inside of a manhole, comprising: a communication terminal installed in the inside of a manhole and an antenna extension cable connecting to the communication terminal. The antenna extension cable is electrically connected to a manhole lid, functioning as an antenna, of a conductive material to transfer a signal received from the manhole lid to the communication terminal. According to the present invention, information (meter reading, water leakage, etc.) about the inside of the manhole is able to be transferred to the outside without opening the manhole lid, so traffic congestion due to manhole checking is removed and facilities inside the manhole are controlled without opening the manhole lid. Moreover, transferring manhole lid opening/closing information, the manhole lid is prevented from burglary and an accident due to opening of the manhole lid is prevented. Since a working environment is monitored during manhole working, a worker working in the manhole is prevented from accidents. |
