PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention storage box which prevents a piece of furniture from overturning by fitting a vertically extending/contracting box-shaped structures in a gap space between the piece of furniture and the ceiling and thereby supporting the ceiling and the piece of furniture with the surfaces and which is installed with a slide shutter for the purpose of preventing stored articles from jumping out.SOLUTION: A storage box is structured with a parallelepiped by combining two types of structures of an outer box and an inner box and by installing a slide shutter 10 in the front. The height is adjusted by selecting differently arranged two rows of bolt holes which are drilled in the inner box side panels 2A, 2B and the outer box side panels 6A, 6B, thereby preventing a piece of furniture from overturning by filling the gap space between the piece of furniture and the ceiling.
