The present invention relates to an adsorbent using ash, and a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, the adsorbent is manufactured by utilizing ash, and by coating a cationic substance. The adsorbent can adsorb and remove a harmful substance or germ by pores, and can also adsorb and remove microdust or virus smaller than the size of the pores by a potential difference. The adsorbent is manufactured by coating a cationic substance on a sintered product prepared by heating and sintering an active mixture. The active mixture is prepared by mixing ash and limestone.
