The invention proposes a backpack schoolbag for children having lateral shoulder straps. It comprises one or more waist belts made of elastic material. It is anchored to the main body at at least two anchoring points that are separated by at least a quarter of the height of the schoolbag. Such "intertwining" makes it possible to carry the recommended loads while dispensing with the shoulder straps, and therefore reduces the loading on the upper vertebral column. The main body includes a front compartment adjacent to the bottom and to the back panel. This compartment forms a rectangular parallelepipiped having a thickness less than its height and width, for holding books and/or files. Optionally, the schoolbag comprises complementary compartments behind and/or above said front compartment. This complementary compartment has dimensions not suitable for holding a book or file. Optionally, the schoolbag has a dynamometric handle providing a visible measurement of the load. Optionally, it comprises a removable compartment in front of the wearer. |
