A method for monitoring a biometric signal using a wearable antenna is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: a) allowing a sensor unit to measure a biometric index of a user and output a biometric signal converted into an electrical signal; b) allowing a signal processing unit to receive the biometric signal to process and modulate the biometric index; c) allowing the wearable antenna to be sewn in an article of the user in conductive fiber form, receive the modulated biometric index data, amplify the modulated biometric index data into a wireless frequency signal, and transmit the wireless frequency signal; d) allowing a signal receiving unit to receive, process and demodulate the transmitted wireless frequency signal; and e) allowing a display unit to receive the demodulated wireless frequency signal and display the biometric index data. According to the present invention, use of a conductive fiber may allow other additional equipment to be removed so as not to disrupt the users activities, may allow power consumption to be reduced, and may enable various people who need periodic treatment, health examination, and continuous health management to easily check their conditions. Furthermore, a reflection coefficient can be set to the minimum value in a frequency band in a conventional short-and-mid distance wireless communications environment, and thus, a longer communications distance than a conventional communications distance can be secured. |
