PURPOSE:To reproduce an image via a flash by nearly one frame by providing a writing signal generating circuit outputting a writing signal when a delay signal is inputted and an image memory section storing an image based on the image signal of a photographing means. CONSTITUTION:An image is formed on the image pickup face of the two-dimensional CCD solid image pickup element 6 of a television camera 5, the image is fed into an image memory section 11, and the monitor image is displayed on an image display device 12 as a static image. One picture pattern is printed during one rotation of the plate cylinder 2 of a rotary press, and the same picture patterns are printed at the same pitch at a high speed. The flash of a stroboscope 4 is illuminated each time 10 to 20 picture patterns pass, however no static image is obtained unless the flash is illuminated at the same position of the picture pattern. An encoder 3a is fitted to the plate cylinder 2 or the portion rotated synchronously with plate cylinder 2, and the flash is illuminated only at the same position of the picture pattern. An encoder pulse delay circuit 7a determines at what portion of the picture pattern the flash is illuminated. |
