PURPOSE:To display a logical structure by a form supporting the efficient edition of the logical structure of a document. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a structure expanding part 22 which expands the logical structure of the document as a tree structure, content size check part 24 which searches the size of a content part corresponding to each node indicating a logical group in the document in the tree structure obtained by the structure expanding part 22, screen management table preparing part 26 which prepares a screen management table in which a position for arranging each node at a screen, and the size of each content part registered, based on the constitution of the tree structure expanded by the structure expanding part 22, and the size obtained by the content size check part 24, and screen display part 30 which displays the tree structure indicating the logical structure of the document by referring to the screen management table prepared by the screen management table preparing part 26 and using a shape by which the size of the content part corresponding to each node can be visibly discriminated. |
