<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of lowering maintenance charges without lowering performance of a fuel cell body, and a method of stopping it. <P>SOLUTION: The method of stopping the fuel cell system 1 comprises a step of shutting down a flow channel of reformed gas flowing from a reformer 2 to the fuel cell body 4, and supplying carbon dioxide to the fuel cell body 4 (step S1), a step of cooling a reformer 2 by stopping supply of fuel for a burner and supplying steam in stead of reformed fuel gas (step S1'), and a step of supplying carbon dioxide to the reformer 2 (step S2) to stop the fuel cell system 1 (step S3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
